Retouching/Comping/Visualising

The work for FITCH - Adidas Predator boot launch included large scale exhibit graphics and the comping and retouching of team montages for the retail launches. I’ve also done lots of in-situ retouching for movie launches or in-store mock-ups.

1. Handset for O2 with campaign image and highlights.
2. The cat was shot on a curved white background - the skateboard and paw were comped blended and re-lit from another image in - lighting and shadow added.
3. This cat is cut out of white/grey background using photoshop brushes and select and mask and edge detection tools. Parts of the fur are painted back in from another image.
4. Comping of the box needed me to put a new front and highlights to old pack - visual for client approval of new range.
5. This was a blank pack - all the imagery was added to skin the pack using photoshop brushes and transform tools.
6. These legs where a little pasty - client needed a healthier glow virtue of levels channels and local adjustment brush.
7. This door and simple wooden frame existed everything else was comped in - toys - woman in the foreground text on the door and wooden frame at the bottom.
8/9. Working on pre-extruded text - comping in the dotted plane shadows and light in the doorway becoming the letter 'I'
10. Working on just the box with the popcorn and adding on the banknote butterflies and handset - shadows and reflections.
11. The bottle originally had a gold foil top - and no label - label added and background - highlights, lighting and shadows.
12. This is recent campaign for TFL (VCCP) - starbursts and textures added to many shapes of this design for web and 48 sheets etc.

These shots in bright sunlight were a bit blown out or had darker shadows than wanted - we also needed to have the kids more prominent against the backgrounds. Foreign cars removed and the little guy wanted to be next to his brother!
